Some examples

 

With the small, old program Newfun1.zip you can view how the function x[3] works

 for x= -0.0001 to x= -2.5001 in 50 steps. It has complex values, consequently

the graphic is space like. At the first prompt please type 8<ENTER>, at the next 14<ENTER>,

after 3 time <ENTER>and finally <ENTER> to quit.
